Then, warmed with a cup of svařené (mulled wine), we head to Nuremberg (think ramparts, watchtowers and gates) … romantic medieval Regensburg … charming Passau (everybody’s darling) … Salzburg and ‘The Sound of Music’ … Linz (founded by the Romans) … Melk (with its magnificent Abbey) … and stunning Vienna (with its iconic Opera House, Schönbrunn Castle, and yummy pastries).
